Artist statement

Wow the experience of being able too use the editing tool has been so fun!!! To be honest I really didn’t no that much about street photography until my teacher told me about it. We have been doing a lot of different types of photography but not as unique as this one.

During my time doing this I had a lot of time to learn a lot about street photography and the editing tool. Like the different ways you can edit a picture by changing how the picture looked before and make it look really out there. Like by using the paint bucket, this tool is used to add color to your picture and make it stand out more. Also I used a lot of the tools in the filter tab. It had a list of different tools to do something different and unique and something that you usually don’t see happening to a picture. The filter had a liquefying tool; it’s when you can liquify certain areas on your picture.

As I was doing street photography I had to find stuff that people usually didn’t see something that standed out, something that I thought that was cool. So as your doing this you just don’t want the picture were you see two people doing the peace sign because that’s not nothing unique, you always see them pictures.

Also as I was doing street photography I wanted to get some pictures of stuff that was like why would you take that picture. Or like what ws he thinking when he took that picture. I just pretty much wanted to take pictures that would ask you why did he, or what was he thinking. Just pictures that I thought that was different and unique. At the end it is up to you to ask your self is this a picture that stands out. Eddie Adams, Felice Beato, Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans. All these photographers do wonderful pictures that always stand out and very unique as I was doing this I tried adding a little bit of their styles even though that would be super hard. But these are a few I look up to because they do great work.

Over all I had fun working with the editing tool. Also learning how to use street photography. Pretty much just every thing.
